Three collections of drawing tools from the last three centuries displayed with drawings.
The exhibition looks at the relationship between drawing techniques and the resulting designs. Pencil Aided Design (PAD) is compared with design aided by ink and computers.
Is it a surprise that the pencil had as radical a change on architecture as the computer is having now?

Every year 400 patents for mousetrap designs are submitted worldwide. This collection of traps from around the world shows how a common design task (to catch a mouse), leads to so many design solutions and methods of making.

The first exhibition to mark the completion of building works in September 2008.
The chapel’s history is shown through historic photographs, drawings and artifacts discovered during the building works.
The story of the repairs and alterations is accompanied by a video.
A book of the exhibition will be published in 2009.

The building work was finished just in time for the completed chapel to be opened to the public for the 2008 open house weekend. Over the two days there were 1260 visitors with people traveling from all over London.

The chapel was open to the public for the first time since 1945 during Open House London 2005 and in 8 hours there were 620 visitors. 85% of which came from SE13, highlighting the enormous local interest in the building.
